The agency has signed for representation Precious producers Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness as well as Bobbi Sue Luther and their Smokewood Entertainment label. Paradigm will handle North American rights to Siegel-Magness’ directorial debut Long Time Gone.

Virginia Madsen, Anthony LaPaglia and Eva Longoria will star in the story of a girl who moves into the home of her boyfriend’s parents and heals the family. Karen McCullah adapted the screenplay from April Stevens’ novel Angel, Angel.

Luther, Magness and Karen McCullah will produce and Andrew Sugerman and Seth Jaret will serve as executive producer.

“Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness proved right out of the box that their film making instinct, taste and execution are exceptional, proven by the remarkable Academy Award-nominated best picture Precious,” Paradigm’s David Boxerbaum said. “In Long Time Gone, Sarah Siegel-Magness proves that she will become an important film director who we are proud to represent.”

“Paradigm has been incredibly enthusiastic about Long Time Gone and we are thrilled to have our company as well as our film repped at the agency,” Siegel-Magness said.
