Paramount Pictures has launched a mobile phone portal totransmit content to mobile devices and promote theatrical and DVD releases.

Visitors to the mobile film sites can buy tickets, take part inpromotions and opt in to receive studio alerts.

'Paramount Pictures will now have a direct-to-consumerrelationship to deliver revenue-generating content, innovative mobilecampaigns, tailored promotions, DVD/retail tie-ins and collaborativepartnerships with technology and media partners,' said Sandi Isaacs,senior vice president of Interactive & Mobile for Paramount DigitalEntertainment.

Mobile contentmanagement solutions provider Crisp Wireless has been selected as the contentmanagement software partner.
