UK film distributor Peccadillo Pictures have secured UK and Ireland rights to Panorama opening film Kuma.
Director Umut Dag’s film is sold by Films Boutique.
Peccadillo has been especially busy in Berlin, also buying Sheldon Larry’s contemporary musical Leave It On The Floor from The Film Collaborative; Italian sci-fi film The Arrival of Wang from Rai Trade; and The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom from Reel Suspects.
Peccadillo MD Tom Abell said: “These acquisitions display a diverse range of film-making which signifies another direction for Peccadillo Pictures in 2012. We’re proud to be adding these films to our slate and feel they represent the diverse nature of our company.”
Peccadillo’s slate also includes She Monkeys, Tomboy, Beauty and Angel and Tony.
