Peccadillo Pictures has acquired Oliver Hermanus’ Beauty (Skoonheid) from MK2.

The film was presented in Un Certain Regard and it also won the Queer Palm award. It is about a macho Afrikaaner and the secret he hides from his family, his friends and himself.

The growing distributor also took on a trio of South American feature films from M-Appeal: Chilean boxing drama My Last Round, Brazilian romance So Hard To Forget and coming-of-ager The Last Summer Of La Boyita from Argentina, which was a co-production with Pedro Almodovar’s Spanish production outift El Deseo.
