Hyde Park International has closed multiple territory deals onMark Palansky's fantasy drama Penelope, which has been in play with domestic buyers since itsworld premiere screening last week.

Rights have gone to Australia (Magna Pacific), Mexico(Gussi), Brazil (Paris Films), CIS (MGN), Taiwan (CMC), and Portugal(Lusomundo).

Deals also closed in Benelux (RCV), Greece (Village Roadshow),Israel (Forum), Malaysia and Singapore (Cathay), Philippines (Sky), Thailand(M-Pics), and Turkey (Aqua Pinema).

Hyde Park International sales chief Lisa Wilson also reportedstrong business on the upcoming James Wan thriller Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon.

The picture has sold to the UK (Entertainment FilmDistributors), France (Metropolitan), Germany (Telemuenchen), and Benelux(RCV).

Meanwhile Asylum, David Ellis' follow-up to Snakes OnA Plane about a collegestudent who discovers her dormitory was once a notorious asylum, has inspiredseveral big deals. It went to the UK (Entertainment Film Distributors),Metropolitan (France), and Benelux (RCV). Principal photography on Asylum and Death Sentence both is set to begin on Sept 18.
