Given A Chance... ALittle Girl's Journey is expected tobe among the highlights of the upcoming Perspectives2004 international festival and forum, which runs in Los Angeles from Jun 4-6.

Kim Marriner's picturechronicles the development of Kassie Marriner, who was born a drug addict and diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Sponsored by the AmericanFilm Institute and Frank D Lanterman Regional Centre, the festival includesnarrative and documentary features and is dedicated to promoting the inclusion of people withdevelopmental disabilities.

Other titles set to screeninclude Robert Mulligan's 1962 version of To Kill A Mockingbird that earned Gregory Peck a best actor Oscar, Billy Bob Thornton's 1996 drama Sling Bladeand Alison Peebles' 2003 drama AfterLife.
