Jessica Pinto has beenappointed to the new position of director of animation marketing at Warner BrosInternational Television Distribution (WBITD).
Pinto will oversee allcreative aspects of the new international Kids WB! branded programming blocksbeing launched around the world and coordinate sales and marketingpresentations of all animation brands and WBITD titles distributed tointernational broadcasters.
She will also act as aliaison between WBITD and other Warner Bros Entertainment units as well as withsister Time Warner divisions in animation-related initiatives.
Based in Burbank, Pinto willreport to Lisa Gregorian, senior vice president of Warner Bros TelevisionCreative Services.
"Jessica's experience,passion and creativity with children's programming combined with her incredibleknowledge of the needs and sensitivities of broadcasters will prove invaluableas we embark on the launch of Kids WB! around the world as well as continue tostrive to keep our animated brands and characters alive on television screensin more than 175 territories,' Gregorian said in a statement.
The Kids WB! block is acustomisable programming package of Warner Bros' animation properties and Kids'WB! branded materials. It launched on TPS Cinefamily in France and will goesout next year in Germany on RTL2.
Pinto joins WBITD from TheWB Television Network, where she most recently served as vice president ofprogramming and scheduling for Kids' WB! She joined Kids' WB! in 1999.
