The AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival unveiled its winners at the weekend as the seven-day event came to an end in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This year’s $5,000 Sterling Award for Best World Feature went to Seungiun Yi for Planet Of Snail while Jason Tippet and Elizabeth Mims collected the $5,000 Sterling Award for best US feature for Only The Young.

Sari Gilman collected the $2,500 Sterling Award for best short film for King’s Point.
