Following last week's new entry Symmetry, which brought Polish films back into the box office chart after a two month hiatus, last weekend saw another local feature top the chart.
Co-distributed by ITI Cinema and Interfilm, Ryszard Zatorski's feature film debut Nigdy W Zyciu! achieved over 230,000 admissions over the weekend and has recorded 243,252 including previews.
The comedy, which stars popular local actress Danuta Stenka, is based on a Polish book of the same name by Katarzyna Grochola.
Meanwhile Symmetry, produced and distributed by SPInka, slipped just 26% in its second weekend. Directed by Konrad Niewolski the film won last year's film critic's award at the annual festival of Polish Feature films in Gdynia.
A tough criminal drama it is the first professional feature film by the 32-year-old Niewolski who won the prize for the best independent film for the 'no budget' feature titled D.I.L. two years ago in Gdynia.
