Universal's Along Came Polly opened top in Brazil through UIP at the weekend on anestimated $300,000 from 144 sites. The romantic comedy has grossed $8.2m fromAustralia, Brazil, Portugal, Singapore and Thailand and has a further 45countries to open.

Focus Features' drama LostIn Translation held fast in Spain in itssecond week for Universal/UIP, adding $345,000 from 141 venues and falling 16%for $2.3m.

It added $171,000 from 53 sitesin Australia for 11th place on $3.3m in its ninth week and raised its runningtotal to $835,000 in Brazil in its fifth week. Overall it has grossed $8m fromAustralia, Spain and Latin America.

Focus stablemate 21 Grams ranked seventh in its fourth week in Spain after adding$450,000 from 146 sites for $3.8m. The drama has taken $10m from releases inSpain and Latin America.

The dance drama Honey opened on $110,000 in 50 sites in Austria, where it is vying forsecond place with fellow openers Cold Mountain and School Of Rock. Overall it has grossed $13.8m from ninecountries and has 16 more to go. It is expected to finish around $26m.

Latest figureswere unavailable for Love Actually in Japan, where the romantic comedy has grossed $7.1m in itsfirst two weeks. The picture has grossed $165m from UIP territories and $175mincluding France and Russia, which were not handled by UIP.
