Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg will adapt the story and will produce through her Tall Girls Productions.

Earthseed is the first in a young adult trilogy about a group of teenagers born without traditional parents from a spacecraft’s gene bank.

This will mark the first production under Rosenberg’s company. Her writing credits include the Twilight franchise and she is currently working on the Highlander screenplay for Summit.
