UK outfits Mann Made Films, Rosebud Pictures team for high-octane political man-hunt thriller.

Scott Mann (The Tournament) and James Edward Barker’s UK production outfit Mann Made Films, is partnering with Rosie Fellner of Rosebud Pictures to develop Adrian Vitoria’s action thriller, Black Money.

Vitoria will write and direct the screenplay, based on his original concept about a team of Black Ops on a high-octane political man-hunt.

Vitoria, currently in pre-production on Bliss, recently completed World War II action-drama, Age Of Heroes, starring Sean Bean.

Barker and Fellner will co-produce Black Money with Mann and Vitoria taking executive producer roles on the picture. Barker will also compose the score.

Barker commented: “We’re really excited to be developing material with Adrian and Rosie. Scott and I are big fans of Adrian’s work and we have some really exciting films that we want to make together. We are equally proud to be working alongside Rosie, who is a versatile, trustworthy and relentlessly hardworking partner.”

Fellner added: “Black Money is a great story, with the potential to be a huge success both commercially and artistically. It’s an exciting project and we are delighted to be collaborating with Mann Made. James is a very diligent and talented producer and I have a lot of admiration for what he and Scott are doing under the Mann Made banner.”

Mann Made is also developing Saint Mary’s with Silent Hill 3D director Michael J Bassett, and US comedy, The Mallusionist, which Barker is producing alongside John Cameron and Mark Andrews.

Scott Mann is repped by CAA’s Martin Spencer and Greg Hunt of Independent Talent Group. Adrian Vitoria is repped by Michael McCoy at Independent Talent Group.
