Mikael Marcimain [pictured] is planning a July start for his debut feature Call Girl, a political thriller that will star Pernilla August and Simon J Berger.

Hoyte van Hoytema (The Fighter) will serve as DoP.

TrustNordisk is handling international sales and the film is slated for release in Sweden in autumn 2012.

Marcimain has previously directed TV dramas including The Laser Man and How Soon Is Now.

Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten wrote the screenplay.

Mimmi Spang (Sebbe) will produce.

The film is a production ofGaragefilm  Film International AB, in co-production with Film i Väst, Sveriges Television AB, The Chimney Pot Sverige AB, Nouvago Capital AB, Friland Produksjon A/S, Yellow Film & TV Oy and Newgrange Pictures Ltd with support from the Swedish Film Institute, Nordisk Film & TV fond, Norwegian Film Institute, Finnish Film Foundation, The Irish Film Board and Windmill Lane Pictures. It had been pitched at Rotterdam CineMart 2008.
