LLeju is financing and producing the story of three redneck brothers who get more than they bargained for after agreeing to help a woman recover her son from his seemingly abusive father.
Founder and president William O Perkins is producing alongside State Street Pictures’ Robert Teitel. Barry Battles is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Griffin Hood.
Production is set to begin in Louisiana on May 2 and the cast includes Serinda Swan, Clayne Crawford, Thomas Sangster and Meagan Good.
The scheme was made possible by £150,000 funding from the devolution deal for Cornwall.
Directed by Matthew Holmes, the feature is set to begin shooting in 2025.
