CBS Films has acquired rights to A G Riddle’s bestselling ebook Atlantis trilogy.
The series centres on a scientist who teams up with a counter-terrorism operative to stop a global pandemic.
In the process they attempt to solve the origins of humanity.
Riddle self-published The Atlantis Gene in 2013. The third book, The Atlantis World, came out in May.
Creative executive Winnie Kemp oversees the project for CBS Films.

It is expected the cuts will begin on Friday November 7 and only impact domestic flights at this stage.
Production is set to commence in Los Angeles in October.
