LA-based Emmett / Furla Films has partnered with Stepan Martirosyan and Remington Chase’s Envision Entertainment to launch a $250m revolving equity and debt fund to produce star-driven commercial fare.

The joint venture solidifies the relationship between the parties, who are backing crime thriller Broken City to star Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg and Frozen Ground with Nic Cage and John Cusak, among others.

Both the aforementioned titles are in pre-production and set to go in the autumn.

In post for Emmett / Furla Films are the comedy Lay The Favorite directed by Stephen Frears and starring Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta Jones, Rebecca Hall and Vince Vaughn and crime thriller End Of Watch with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anna Kendrick.
