Newly capitalised Randall Emmett and George Furla are partnering on the comedy with Brad Epstein of Panther Films and Reese Witherspoon through her Type A Films.

Courtney Hunt, who won wide acclaim for Frozen River, will direct the story from a screenplay by Terrel Seltzer about an OCD woman who takes in a young woman and her newborn baby in an effort to master her anxiety and win back her estranged husband.

Witherspoon is in talks to star. Both she and Emmett/Furla Films are represented by CAA.

Emmett / Furla’s production slate includes Broken City, Frozen Ground and Lay The Favorite.
