Exclusive Media Group will produce and fully finance the Miley Cyrus action comedy So Undercover and is introducing to buyers at the market here.

Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas) will direct from a screenplay by Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl. Exclusive is producing with Loeb and Pearl through their company Scarlet Fire Entertainment and by Tish Cyrus.

Jodi Zuckerman-Weiner serves as executive producer for Cyrus’ production company Hope Town Entertainment alongside Rob Cowan.

Exclusive Films International head Alex Walton and Exclusive co-chairman Guy East are touting the project at the AFM.

Cyrus will play a street-smart private investigator hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority. Her credits include Hannah Montana: The Movie and The Last Song.

“Miley is an worldwide superstar, and we are very proud to be making this film with her,” Exclusive co-chairman Nigel Sinclair said. “There will be a touch of real danger too when she goes undercover. We have a sharp, funny, accessible and commercial script from Allan and Steven that is a perfect match for her comic talents. We are also thrilled to have Tom Vaughan at the helm.”

Sinclair negotiated the deal with CAA on behalf of Cyrus, Vaughan, Loeb and Pearl. CAA packaged and raised financing for the project and is in talks with a studio for a domestic deal.
