Paul Knight is currently shooting A Landscape Of Lies in London, while Christian Duguay prepares the autumn shoot for his latest project Jappeloup in Mallorca.

Paul Knight currently directs Danny Midwinter, Andre Samson, Andrea McLean, Marc Bannerman and Helen Latham in the British thriller A Landscape Of Lies, which centres on an ex soldier who struggles to adjust to life after the Gulf War, but when his commanding officer is killed in a suspected mugging, he sets about trying to find the truth. Knight directs from his own script and also co-produces for his company New Breed Productions, in conjunction with Aoife Madden’s newly set up  Evolved-Pictures. Shooting got underway on August 1.

Guillaume Canet [pictured] and Daniel Auteuil have been confirmed to star in Christian Duguay’s Jappeloup about a jockey who nurses a small horse named Jappeloup back from a serious injury to victory in the show jumping at the Seoul Games, having failed four years earlier at the Los Angeles Olympics. Canet also wrote the screenplay. The film, which is currently in pre-production, will start its three week shoot in November in Mallorca and France. It is produced by France’s Pathé and Acajou Films, as well as Spanish production outfit Meñakoz Films.
