Lionsgate has set an Oct 28 North American release date for Ghost House Pictures’ supernatural tale about a divorced man whose daughter buys a possessed antique box.

Lionsgate’s overseas sales force led by Helen Lee Kim was talking to buyers about Dibbuk Box at the AFM last autumn.

Sam Raimi is producing with his Ghost House partner Rob Tapert. Danish director Ole Bornedal is on board and Juliet Snowden and Stiles White wrote the screenplay.

Stan Wertlieb, Peter Schlessel and Ghost House principal NathanKahane will serve as executive producers.

Morgan’s credits include the upcoming The Fields as well as Watchmen and The Losers. He will also star in MGM’s upcoming Red Dawn reboot and wrapped production in upstate New York on the independent feature Peace, Love, & Misunderstandin’ alongside Catherine Keener and Jane Fonda, for director Bruce Beresford.
