Sierra / Affinity will commence sales at the EFM next week on Hudson’s first action vechicle based on Yale Hannon’s Black List screenplay.

Production is scheduled to kick off in May on the thriller set entirely in one room where a woman must repel waves of attacks from assassins sent by her ex, a crime lord.

Joe Lynch will direct and Crime Scene partners Adam Ripp and Rob Paris are financing and will produce with Anonymous Content’s Luke Rivett. Rizal Risjad and Philip Elway serve as executive producers.

“When we heard that Kate wanted to make the transition into an action star, we knew we had found our Everly,” Ripp and Paris said. “The physicality and intensity of this role will be transformative for her. We are thrilled to be bringing her into this space.”

Everly is a taut, sexy thriller showcasing the aspects of what a female action star can do,” Sierra / Affinity CEO Nick Meyer said. “Joe Lynch’s vision for this film coupled with the talented minds of Adam and Rob provides the perfect platform for an actress of Kate Hudson’s caliber to make the transition into an action star.”
