Arkansas-based documentary creator Lightcatcher Productions has begun production on six narrative features to be released over five years.

Lightcatcher heads Jim Long [pictured] and Dan Davies will serve as producers. Three of the titles are co-productions with partners in the UK and Israel. The goal is to tap into the local crew and talent base.

The slate includes action-adventure Book Of Plagues, crime tale The Last Cartel, espionage story The Chosen Spy with Israel-based Real Vision Films, drama Cueburn, drama Soldier Of The Heart and action-adventure Runners.

Lightcatcher’s documentary fare includes Treasures Of The Copper Scroll and Riddle Of The Exodus.

Long is a film-maker, publisher, broadcast journalist and archaeology enthusiast. Davies worked is a former marketing executive and worked in Egypt as a film-maker.
