The Little Film Company will be showing footage in Cannes on its new thriller Sexy Evil Genius starring Buffy The Vampire Slayer veterans Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg alongside Anthony Michael Hall.

Shawn Piller directs from a screenplay by Scott Lew about a vengeful woman who lures several ex-boyfriends to a bar in downtown Los Angeles for a night of retribution. Katee Sackhoff, William Baldwin and Harold Perrineau Jr round out the cast.

Lloyd Segan of Piller/Segan/Shepherd produces with David W Higgins of Launchpad Productions and Mark Amin of Sobini Films. Sobini’s Cami Winikoff serves as executive producer.

Sexy Evil Genius is intimately compelling yet commercially appealing to a universal audience – a testament to the unique story brought to life by an outstanding cast,” Robbie Little said. “For us, the film exemplifies the pedigree of picture we are committed to bringing to the international marketplace. We’re excited for initial reactions to film footage in Cannes.”

Little’s Cannes sales slate includes the thriller Defiant starring Toni Collette and Dev Patel, Nights Of Cabiria remake The Days Of Mary starring Juliette Lewis, Elaine Constantine’s music drama Northern Soul and Devil’s Peak, the first in a thriller trilogy to star Sean Bean.

The company is also handling select territories on Dario Argento’s official selection Dracula 3D starring Thomas Kretschmann, Asia Argento and Rutger Hauer.
