Emmy nominee Christina Hendricks from hit series Mad Men has joined Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan on Bold Films, OddLot Entertainment and Marc Platt Productions’ action thriller Drive.I

Affinity International is selling foreign rights and WME represents North America on the project, which Nicolas Winding Refn (Bronson) is preparing to direct in Los Angeles commencing on September 25.

Hossein Amini (The Wings of The Dove) wrote the screenplay based on the James Sallis crime novel of the same name.

Gosling will play a Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver and finds himself a target after he helps his beautiful neighbour’s ex-con boyfriend. Albert Brooks, Bryan Cranston and Oscar Isaacs round out the main cast so far.

Marc Platt will produce with Gigi Pritzker, Michel Litvak and Adam Siegel. David Lancaster, Gary Michael Walters, Bill Lischak and Linda McDonough will serve as executive producers on the film.
