The thriller stars Madeline Zima, Agnes Bruckner and Shawn Ashmore and is being directed by Jamie Babbit.

Breaking The Girl follows a university student who gets framed for murder after she meets a manipulative girl who claims she can remove a hostile classmate. Myriad CEO Kirk D’Amico is producing alongside Andrea Sperling andRobert Levy and Peter Abrams from Tapestry Films serve as executive producers. 

Future Films, Myriad and the National Bank Of California partnered on financing with Fallbrook Finance and used Californian tax credits.

Myriad’s current sales roster heading into the AFM includes Jennifer Lynch’s thriller Chained, political tale Knife Fight starring Rob Lowe and recent Toronto world premiere Edwin Boyd, a true-crime thriller starring Scott Speedman.
