Head of international sales John Fremes will introduce the Millennium Films project to buyers on the Croisette this week and a production start has been earmarked for September.

Gary Fleder will direct from Stallone’s adapted screenplay based on the novel by Chuck Logan.

Homefront centres on a DEA agent who moves his family to a small town and comes out of retirement when his family and the local community are threatened by drug traffickers.

Stallone is producing with Kevin King-Templeton and Avi Lerner, with Trevor Short on board as executive producer.
