Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and Jude Law will star in DreamWorks Animation’s 3D project Rise Of The Guardians.

The film is scheduled to open on November 21, 2012 and is based on the forthcoming series of children’s books by William Joyce. RabbitHole screenwriter David Lindsay-Abaire adapted the books.

Peter Ramsey is directing and Joyce will co-direct the tale of a group of characters from children’s fiction who band together to thwart an evil nemesis.

Law will play the villainous Pitch, while Pine will portray Jack Frost, Baldwin stars as North aka Father Christmas, Jackman is Bunnymund aka the Easter Bunny and Fisher is Tooth, better known to young readers as the Tooth Fairy.

Christina Steinberg and Nancy Bernstein are producing and Guillermo del Toro and Michael Siegel are executive producers.
