Bill Perkins’ financing and production company will finance the redemption drama and is producing with Derrick Borte’s Storyland Pictures.

Borte, whose credits include The Joneses, is on board to direct. Production is set to start next month on the 2005 Black List screenplay about a potential suicide who has a fateful encounter with a stranger. Scott Lochmus also produces.

Andrew Hurwitz of Schreck Rose Dapello Adams & Hurwitz represented both parties in negotiations.

LLeju Productions recently wrapped The Baytown Disco starring Billy Bob Thornton and Eva Longoria.
