24 director Brad Turner will turn his hand to the post-apocalyptic action film from a screenplay by Bobby Mort and Kevin Leeson. VMI Worldwide will handle worldwide sales.

Scorched Earth takes place after earth has collapsed from an environmental disaster as a bounty hunter pursues the most wanted criminal in existence.

The project marks Turner’s feature directorial debut after directing more than 200 television episodes of prime time TV.

Jamie Goehring and Leeson are producing Scorched Earth and Shawn Williamson and Daniel Zirilli will serve as executive producers.
