Production has begun on Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie starring Digital Shorts superstars Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.
The trio, known collectively as The Lonely Island, created the regular SNL Digital Shorts brand and will produce alongside Judd Apatow and Rodney Rothman.
Schaffer and Taccone will co-direct the film, which will be set in the world of music.
Morgan Sackett serves as executive producer. Samberg is pictured.
Total LA-based production shoot days were down 8.7% in Q1.
Executive also addresses licensing of features and shows.
Marshall made a string of hits in the eighties and nineties, including A League Of Their Own.
