The studio’s weekly casting announcement for the upcoming young adult thriller brings the star of American Beauty into the mix.

Bentley, who also starred opposite Nic Cage in Ghost Rider, will play Seneca Crane in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ global bestseller.

Previously announced cast members include Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role of Katniss Everdeen, as well as Willow Shields, Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Paula Malcomson.

Gary Ross will direct and is producing with Nina Jacobson’s Color Force and Jon Kilik. Lionsgate holds worldwide rights.
