The festival opens tonight [15] with The Perfect Family and closes with Master Harold And The Boys.
The Friday Spotlight Selection is Sundance entry Circumstance and the Saturday Spotlight Selection is Splinters.
Other highlights among the roster of more than 50 films include the US premiere of Dirty Girl and the world premiere of Varla Jean & The Mushroom Heads, as well as Sundance hit Another Earth.
As previously announced, the 2011 Filmmaker On The Edge Award will be awarded to Darren Aronofsky, in conversation with John Waters. Vera Famiga will receive the Excellence In Acting Award and the Career Achievement Award will go to Albert Maysles.
