Korea's Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) is launching a projects market specifically for genre films during its upcoming 12th edition (July 18 - 27).

Dubbed the Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF), Pifan's market is modeled on Rotterdam's Cinemart and Pusan's PPP and will run July 19 - 23.

NAFF will comprise four parts: the It Project - a program for films in all stages of production to match up with co-producers and financiers. It will run July 20 - 22. Submissions deadline is May 31.

Also part of NAFF: industry screenings, a forum for discussing industry issues; and Fantastic School, an educational workshop for genre film professionals which this year will showcase action directors from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and Thailand.

PiFan programmers Kwon Yongmin and Jin Park are Cannes until the 22nd and 24th respectively.

Further details about the market, including those on It awards will be announced in late June.
