This is very sad news for the UK film industry. With letting Richard go, CE will lose an extremely talented executive, and filmmakers will lose out on Richard’s creative and practical know-how, his enthusiasm, guidance and support for the projects. Not only does Richard have personal experience producing independent films, he has that rare talent of balancing the needs of financiers with the needs of the creatives, while still being liked and respected by all parties. His track record and the recent success of CE funded films speak for itself. It is such a shame.
