Richard Holmes was one of the first producers I worked with as a fledgling screenwriter. His astute insight, warm encouragement and smart advice was invaluable. He is a wonderfully clever and generous man with a gigantic heart and a proven track record in making fabulous British films.

This is a real loss to Creative England's team. But it's also a terrible blow to us filmmakers - who know the value of execs with taste and smarts.
