Richard Lorber, president and chief executive of Lober HT Digital, has been re-elected as the chair of New York’s Film Forum’s board of directors.

Lorber previously served in the role for three years from 2005, during which time he raised money to develop additional administrative office space for the non-profit Forum.

New board members include  Alliance For Downtown New York president Liz Berger, Susan Farkas, the United Nations’ Radio And Television Service chief and Ted Rogers, a philanthropist and previous chairman of the board of the New York City Ballet.

Lorber co-founded Fox Lorber, which he later merged into the telecommunications company WinStar. He was also president of arthouse distributor Koch Lorber Films until 2008.
