Scott Rowe has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice-president of worldwide communications at Warner Bros Television Group.

Meanwhile Tammy Golihew has been promoted to senior vice-president of publicity at Warner Bros Television.

Rowe’s remit will cover communications regarding cable and syndication distribution, executives, marketing and select production operations.

Leading Warner Bros Television Group’s various publicity teams, he will oversee trade, consumer, online and business press, as well as audience development outreach and social networking related to publicity, digital, industry issues, trend stories and crisis communications.

In her expanded role, Golihew will continue to oversee all consumer publicity and strategic business communications related to programming from Warner Bros Television, Warner Horizon Television, Warner Bros Animation and digital venture Studio 2.0. She will report to Warner Bros Television president Peter Roth and Rowe.

Since 2006 Rowe has served as senior vice-president of corporate communications for Warner Bros Entertainment. Prior to that he served as vice-president of corporate communications for seven years after joining the company in 1994 from Fox and rising through the ranks..

Golihew joined Warner Bros in 2006 as vice-president of publicity.
