Adam Wright has joined Maverick Global, the international sales arm of US home entertainment genre distributor Maverick Entertainment Group, as senior vice president of international distribution and domestic television sales.
Wright will report directly to executive vice president Pamela White and will continue to live in Los Angeles, where he most recently served as senior vice president of worldwide sales at Porchlight Entertainment.
Prior to Porchlight Wright held senior executive positions at Cinetel Distribution, Rysher Entertainment and Turner Pictures Worldwide.
'Moving forward, Maverick will take an even more aggressive approach with its acquisitions and broaden its global reach in the TV, VOD and PPV business,' Maverick founder Doug Schwab said.
'Adam brings to the table a wealth of knowledge, an immense amount of contacts and the ability to expand and grow Maverick's distribution in both the traditional and digital mediums.'
