The Ninth Annual Gen ArtFilm Festival will open on Apr 14 with the New York premiere of BrianDannelly's dark comedy Saved!starring Jena Malone, Mandy Moore and Macaulay Culkin.

The American independentfestival runs until Apr 20 and will showcase New York premieres of sevenfeatures and seven shorts. The closing night film will be announced shortly.

Saved! tells the tale of a group of high school studentswho team up to help each other survive their final year at theultra-conservative establishment. Patrick Fugit, Heather Matarazzo andMary-Louise Parker also star.

Confirmed titles includeAzazel Jacobs' acting drama Nobody Needs To Know, starring Tricia Vessey and Liz Stauber; AlexHoldridge's romantic comedy Sexless, starring Holdridge, Biran McGuire and Kelly Dealyn; AllenMindel's ensemble drama Milwaukee, Minnesota, starring Troy Garity, Bruce Dern and AlisonFolland; Bryan Poyser's porn-related Dear Pillow, starring Rusty Kelley, Gary Chason and VivianVives; and Brian Herzlinger's documentary My Date With Drew, which stars Herzlinger, Corey Feldman and EricRoberts.

'This year's incrediblytalented film-makers are presenting an eclectic array of films, from thecrowd-pleasing [short] I Am Stamosand My Date With Drew to the morechallenging avante-garde piece Nobody Needs To Know.
