Schalah Mitchell has joined Denmead Marketing's Los Angelesoffices as an account manager handling international theatrical publicitycampaigns.
Reporting directly to Denmead Marketing president Nikki Parker,Mitchell will oversee campaigns for the company's roster of clients thatincludes Initial Entertainment Group, Senator International and Lions Gate FilmsInternational, among others.
Upcoming pictures for Denmead include Initial's The Aviator and The Ballad Of Jack And Rose, and Senator International's HaroldAnd Kumar Go To White Castle and The Grudge.
Mitchell most recently served as a freelance publicist forColumbia TriStar Film Distributors International, where she worked on Spider-Man,Adaptation, Big Fish andSomething's Gotta Give,among others.
Prior to herposts in international publicity, she worked in casting for both television andfilm as a casting associate and consultant for numerous projects in New Yorkand Los Angeles. She began her career as a casting assistant for NBCTelevision.
