UTV Motion Pictures CEO Ronnie Screwvala has been re-elected as president of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India.

Screwvala, founder CEO of the UTV Group, has led the company to become a global integrated media company.

The other office bearers to be re-elected are Adlabs' Manmohan Shetty and filmmaker Ravi Chopra as vice presidents and Manish Goswami and Sushilkumar Agrawal as honorary treasurers.

Producers Bobby Bedi and Raj Tilak were elected as vice presidents.

The activities of the Guild during the course of the year have included interaction with the government on several issues, such as the impact of VAT and stamp duty on the film industry and pending broadcast regulations.

Established in 1954 by members of the Indian film industry, the Guild comprises established players in the Indian entertainment space, as well as newcomers, independent filmmakers and TV production houses.
