Shoreline Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to Rania Ajami's comedy Asylum Seekers.

The story centres on six bored people who attempt to get admitted into an insane asylum in a bid to spice up their lives. With only one bed available, the six men and women must compete against each other to prove which is the craziest.

Shoreline's director of acquisitions Brandon Paine and director of worldwide distribution Sam Eigen negotiated the deal with producers Molly Connors and Chris Woodrow.

Shoreline is currently in post-production on the caper film High Life starring Timothy Olyphant and Joe Anderson.
