Bohdan Slama's Something Like Happiness took home seven Czech Lions, including best picture,at the Czech Film and Television Academy (CFTA) annual awards.

Slama was named best director and best screenwriter for his involving,humanistic drama about working-class life in a small Czech city.

Produced by Negativ, the film won the Golden Shell for bestpicture at San Sebastian in 2005.

Something Like Happiness also earned awards for its cast and crew: best actor for Pavel Liska,best actress for Tatiana Vilhelmova, best supporting actress for AnnaGeislerova and best cinematography for Marek Divis.

Geislerova previously won best actress at San Sebastian, andLiska was recently featured as a Shooting Star at Berlin. Wild Bunch is handlinginternational sales for the film.

Other winners at the Czech Lions included The City Of TheSun (dir. Martin Sulik), WrongSide Up (dir. Petr Zelenka) and FromThe Subway With Love (dir. Filip Renc).
