The 15th anniversary northern California event came to a close on Sunday (15) with the US premiere of EuropaCorp’s The Source.

The Audience Favorite World Feature prize went to Ken Scott’s Quebecois comedy Starbuck while the Audience Favorite Feature honour was presented to Doggie Boogie USA by Romanus Wolter.

The Audience Favorite Documentary went to Wall: The Journey Up by Wally Baynard and the Audience Favorite from festival-within-a-festival La Quinceañera Film Fiesta was presented to Gerardo Olivares for Among Wolves.

In the juried awards, best narrative honours went to Starbuck while the Best Very Independent Feature award was presented to Hidalgo: The Untold Story by Antonio Serrano.

Best International Feature honours went to Manipulation (Switzerland/Germany) by Pascal Verdosci and Alex Rotaru’s Shakespeare High took best documentary honours. The festival ran from Apr 11-15.
