Lauren Glotzer has been promoted to evp of corporate development at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Glotzer will oversee studio investments and analyses, mergers and acquisitions, new business development and strategic planning.

In her five years with SPE, Glotzer has been actively involved in many of the studio’s major strategic ventures, including SPE’s increased stake in GSN, the home entertainment joint venture with Universal in Australia, and the launch of alternative content initiative The Hot Ticket.
