The British Academy Of Film & Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA LA) has elected Steven Spielberg and retiring chairman Arnold Schwartzman to the Board of Governors. They joing current governors Peter Beale, Barbara Broccoli, Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins, Su Lesser, Ronald Neame, Michael Oliver, Marion Rosenberg, Martin Scorsese and Peter Ustinov.
In addition, BAFTA LA elected as officers to its board of directors Gary Dartnall (chairman), Katy Haber (managing director), Hilary Mackendrick (secretary) and Nicolas Hippisley Coxe (treasurer). Other newly elected directors are Jane Ayer, Tim Burkinshaw, David Campling, Pamela Godfrey, Peter Henton and Wil Males. Donald Haber continues as executive director.
