EXCLUSIVE: Voltage has closed key sales heading into AFM on its upcoming rom-com A Many Splintered Thing starring Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan. McG is producing with Voltage chief Nicolas Chartier and production is set to begin in Los Angeles on Saturday (Nov 3).

Deals have closed in Germany (Wild Bunch), Latin America (Imagem), CIS (CP Digital), Baltic States (Acme), Israel, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Ex-Yugoslavia (Forum), India (PVR). EIM has acquired airline rights.

Justin Reardon will direct A Many Splintered Thing and the key cast includes Luke Wilson, Topher Grace, Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Plaza and Phillip Baker Hall. Craig Flores also produces.

The story centres on a young man who meets a breathtaking young woman at a charity dinner who pretends to be a philanthropist and unbeknownst to him is engaged.

Voltage’s AFM slate includes The Zero Theorem by Terry Gilliam.
