Stealth Media Group has come on board another project here at the AFM, sci-fi thriller Dark Peak.

The $5m film will be directed by Ben Jagger from Alistair Audsley’s script.

The story follows a group of hikers who encounter a terrifying force on Dark Peak in the Derbyshire, UK (it is based on actual reports of unexplained air crashes in the area).

Paul Tucker of Belief Films is producing with John Adams of Angry Badger Pictures.

The film is fully financed and will start pre-production in April 2011 for a delivery of first quarter 2012.

Casting will be announced in the next few weeks.

Producers are at present casting the film and will announce attachments in the next couple of weeks.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Ben, Alistair, Paul and John on Dark Peakwhich we believe could be both a UK hit and be successful internationally, and we have faith in them and their vision,” said Michael L. Cowan of Stealth.
