IM Global has reporting a storming business on the upcoming $25m supernatural thriller Shelter set to star Julianne Moore. Jonathan Rhys Myers is a recent addition to the cast.

Deals have closed in South Korea (Montage), Latin America (Quality), Russia (MGN), Benelux (RCV), the Middle East (Gulf), Greece (Village Roadshow), Turkey (TMC/Hunter), Israel (Forum), Eastern Europe (Kino Swiat/Prorom), Switzerland (Noble) and the Philippines, Malaysia and India (Multivision).

CEO Stuart Ford said he was in advanced talks with Germany, Japan and Spain about the story of a sceptical psychologist battling an evil force. As previously announced Icon picked up the film for the UK and Australia. Shooting is set to start in late March in Pennsylvania.

Ford also reported a successful EFM for the fledgling IM Global Home Entertainment division headed by former Showtime executive Catherine Quantschnigg

Quantschnigg said DreamWorks' earlier acquisition of domestic and remake rights to Slamdance smash Paranormal Activity had sent buyer interest 'into overdrive.'

The home entertainment slate includes Bruce Campbell's comedy horror My Name Is Bruce, coming-of-age drama My Sexiest Year with Harvey Keitel and thriller The Passage starring Stephen Dorff.
