Bavaria Film International made Cannes sales on Doris Dörrie's Berlinale competition entry, Cherry Blossoms - Hanami was sold to Canada (Mongrel Media), Brazil (Mostra International de Cinema), India (Allience Lumière) and Russia (Maywin Media).

Maywin Media also picked up Bavaria's second Berlinale competition entry, Restless by Amos Kollek as well as Let The Right One In by Tomas Alfredson.

Let The Right One In was also sold to Vivarto for Poland, Suraya Film for Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, while Mostra International de Cinema secured the rights for Brazil. UK, France and German deals are pending for this Vampire romance.

Mostra International de Cinema also took on Bavaria's Critics Week hit Moscow, Belgium by Christophe van Rompaey with deals closed for Mongrel Media for Canada and Lietuvos Kinas for Lithuania.

Emily Atef's The Stranger In Me, Bavaria's second film in Critics Week has gone to Poland for Vivarto, and again, Mostra International de Cinema for Brazil.

Til Schweiger's Rabbit Without Ears was sold to Allience Lumière for India,. Allience Lumière also took on Shadows by Milcho Manchevski and Albertina Capri's La Rabia.

A deal for Petri Kotwica's Black Ice, Bavaria's third Berlinale competition entry this year was closed with Seven Seas for Thailand, who also picked up Bavaria's classic, Stalingrad.
